Some Odds and Ends...
Gotta get my camera cleaned up before the weekend, so here's the random pictures taken over the last month....
This picture cracks me up...I think it's clear how Tyler feels about Chloe getting up in his face...
Not sure why, but this seems to be his favorite pose..
Tyler needing hair...Jack needing a hair cut...
It's a forced smile, but I'll take it...
Not a forced smile...Chloe plain and simple...
Lillie Anna is fascinated with Annie Oakley right now and , as such, is becoming more of a gun lover than I ever imagined...
Words just can't describe...
My kids have the wildest imaginations....I blame reading to them....LOL
Hangin' out the laundry...

Little Mr. Sure Shot...

How do you know your little boy is growing up WAY too fast?
Give him a gun (and the proper instruction)
Jack got a BB gun last month and Papa and Jody have been teaching him how to shoot...
How to load it, how to carry it, how to sight it in...All the stuff that keeps you from putting your eye (and the eye of others) out...
It's a Red Rider and every mother that's ever watched "A Christmas Story" can relate...
So how did he do? Pretty good...hit a small coffee can from 25 ft ...11 times. I am so proud of how mature and responsible Jack was.
What a good boy God gave me...Have a blessed day!

We've Got Batter Control Issues...

No comments about this being unbelievably dangerous, please. I ate batter when I was a kid and look how....oh, wait...nevermind.
My dad says every picture he takes of Lillie is magical. It's true. She can be doing the most mundane things and there's just something beautiful about her...
My boy's growing up! This is his first loan agreement! Kid cannot wait to make enough allowance to buy a lego plane set (about 3 months of work, IF he doesn't get money taken away for bad behavior.) So, Jody decided that he would offer him a loan. We buy the plane now and he's our slave til he works off the debt. When Lillie was asked if she wanted us to front her some money for something, she said "Ummm, no. I'll just save up my money." Smart girl. Doesn't Jack look thrilled though. He's probably wondering what he's gotten himself into.
There is no shortage of love around here for Ty GUy.

Oh Brother!
I can't tell you how blessed I am to have two boys and two girls. I worried for awhile about Jack feeling left out or lonely with just him and the two girls, but the LORD knew what we needed. Jackson is gonna be a great big brother, I can just tell. There's enough age difference between them that he sees himself as Tyler's protector. And Tyler really loves Jack, you can see it when they wrestle. Tyler looks at Jack like he's the King of the World. Took these pictures while the two of them were cuddlin' on the bed.

We Like to Drag Things Out...
Like birthdays. Jack and Chloe have had the privilage of two parties this year. The last one was a good ole fashioned hot dog roast. We gathered up at my mom and dad's place with Leila and her crew, Uncle Jim and my grandmother from Nashville. It was great fun. I think we will make this one of Jack and Chloe's birthday traditions.
